Knitting Buddy is a project tracker for knitters and crocheters on iOS. Despite the name, it works well for both crafts and includes a row counter, repeat counter, project timer, notes, and stash management.

Download Knitting Buddy from the App Store. The app was originally designed for knitting but crocheters will find it equally useful.

Track rows with a simple tap counter. The repeat counter tracks pattern sequences separately, which is useful for patterns that say “repeat rows 5–8 four times.”

A built-in timer tracks how long you spend on each project. Use it to estimate how long future projects of similar size might take, or to track your crafting hours.

View your pattern text directly on the counter page. You do not have to switch between your pattern and your counter, since both are visible at the same time.

Add notes to each project for modification details, size information, yarn substitutions, or any other reminders.

Track your collection of knitting needles and crochet hooks. Log what sizes you own so you always know what is available.

Log your yarns with details such as brand, weight, color, and quantity. Link yarns to specific projects to track usage.
